The Real Gospel

So what exactly is the Gospel?? Well first of all Gospel means good news, not good news then the bad. So if we go around and say “Yea your saved because you believe. BUT!!! If you don’t do what we say God will just hate you again.”. Yea I’m paraphrasin’ but that is what a lot of people hear. One minute their Saved then the next minute their condemned sinners again. Where is the freedom in Jesus there?? I thought my chains were broken off?!? I thought I could now press on and enjoy life with Christ? No, not according to most people, especially here in the Bible Belt of Mississippi. I’ve heard it a lot and our Brother Johnny said that he never heard so much of it before he moved down here. So I would like to clarify to everyone what the REAL Gospel is:

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to Earth as man. Just like me and you. Except He lived a sinless life completely dependent upon God for every step He took. He was blameless. Then He willfully took crusifixion on His cross to pay for our sins. He bore the sins of the entire world on that one day. Sins for past,present and future! He payed for our sins so that we could be forgiven and set free from the bondage of sin. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life! After His death , He rose from the dead on the third day and sent everyone who believes the Holy Spirit!! The Holy Spirit is our comforter, it guides us into all Truth! Jesus Christ came to live within us, through the Holy Spirit!! The scripture says:

There is therefore now NO condemnation, for those who believe in Jesus Christ!!

All you have to do is believe and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour!!

So, is this the Gospel you heard? Because it’s the one the Bible teaches?!

May the Lord move in us!!

Hello again everyone, I’ll start to post more from now on, so I apologize for being neglectful.

Family,I love you all and thank you all for paying attention to this blog because it encourages me and brings me hope.

I’m growing in my walk with Jesus and things are getting so much bigger around here than I thought. He is too good to us. His grace is more abounding than I could ever imagine. I praise you Father!! More and more people are coming to our Bible Studies so much so that…God has sent me a dream a few months ago. And now me and my mother have confirmed it. She had the exact same dream.

We both saw a white church and many people coming to it. We knew this was our church and I have a feeling we will preach God’s Word here. My conscience and the Holy Spirit bear witness of me and it is the truth. I ask that all of you will pray for us. Even if you don’t know us and won’t ever meet us, though I pray we will someday see each other face to face, wish that you all would pray for us that God will continue to use us and guide us to do His will.

A beautiful night of fellowship!!

Last night was amazing and beautiful. Most of you don’t know but, me and my family have always went to the same church. Even since I was very young,(although like most I have fallen away before, but that was the past). Anyway money is tight and we live about an hour away so we’re not always able to go. On the other hand though, God has led me and my family down an amazing road. We have a fire for Christ and the Gospel that we never have had before. So in short we have been led to start a small house Bible Study or Church whatever you would like to call it, and last night was the first night.

We all were pretty nervous but as we began the lesson the Spirit  took over and we all just started talking, learning, and laughing it was the most enjoyable thing we have done in a long time. But the really great thing leading up to that night happened earlier in the day. Me and my Dad went to help one of his friends tear down an old barn. We met him, and one of his friends, a man named Johnny, at a gas station and just started talking. We soon learned he was a Christian but not only that he was very knowledgeable about the Gospel and had a fire for Christ. So we invited him to our Bible Study we were having that night and he was very excited! He told  us for the past 2 or 3 weeks he has been looking for a place to go for Bible Study because his church was restructuring. In his words it was a “Divine appointment”.

God is truly amazing!!!

 

Father, I ask that you continue to build us up. That we may minister unto all that you have called us and preach the Gospel truthfully and full of the Holy Spirit. That we may bring glory to your name ,Father. I praise you and thank you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

 

 

We need a Revivalution!! (revival + revolution)

Ephesians 6:16-17

” In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.”

Will we as Christians stand together? Will we dust off our Sword of the Spirit(the Word of God), or stand down and be ashamed. The evil one in this world will seek to destroy us, water down the Gospel, mock our Savior, and destroy Christians. We must stand together and rush upon the gates of hell. No longer allowing the devil free reign in our lives. We must reach people with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul said he didn’t come proclaiming the Gospel with excellent speech or wisdom but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Many false teachers will tell you the gifts of the Holy Spirit are only given to very few people and it’s usually not YOU!

Do not believe you cannot have a gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is inside all who believe and call on the name of Jesus Christ!

Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;  and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,  to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.  All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Just time to thank God…

I awoke this morning from a crazy dream. It startled and scared me a bit. But I know God is at work in my life and I give it all to HIm. After laying in bed for a while Philippians 2:13 kept whispering in my ear. This is what is says:

Philippians 2:13
“for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”
